Coca-Cola has announced the winner of “It’s Possible” video competition. Sherwyn Lui, known as "tuapui" in the Eyeka community, takes home S$10,000 and a Coke Zero mini-fridge. His winning entry is currently being aired on television.
Sherwyn's 30-second animated video titled “Life’s subtle possibilities” shows how some of life’s perceived problems, such as work stress and failed relationships, can be easily overcome.
“I’m thrilled to bag the top prize in the Coke Zero “It’s Possible” contest and even more excited to have my work aired on national television. I’ve always come close to winning, but this is my first artistic win,” says Sherwyn. When asked what he would do with the prize money, he said, “I will use it to upgrade my computer and share it with my mother, who has been really supportive of my work!”
Submissions were assessed based on style, technique, message and how well they expounded the theme of “It’s Possible.” All entries were judged by a line-up of eminent media personalities. The winning video started airing on Singapore's Mediacorp Channels 5 and 8 last night and will run for a week.
